Blizzard's handling of the Overwatch 2 Cyber DJ skin has reignited player frustration. Initially listed in the in-game store for $19.99, the skin was unexpectedly offered for free a day later to Twitch viewers watching a one-hour broadcast on February 12th.
This sparked considerable backlash from players who had already purchased the skin. The situation echoes previous instances where Blizzard sold cosmetic items only to later offer them freely through promotions. Players are demanding refunds, citing unfair practices. While the Cyber DJ skin has been removed from the store, Blizzard has yet to address refund requests.
