To mark this milestone, SuperPlanet is bringing an exciting and hilarious crossover event with the renowned South Korean webtoon, The Sound of Your Heart, known for its comedic take on everyday life. Titled Boomerang RPG: Watch Out Dude x The Sound of Your Heart, this collaboration promises to inject a dose of humor and unique gameplay into the RPG experience.

The Sound of Your Heart, created by Jo Seok, is a webtoon that first appeared on Naver Webtoon in 2006 and has since become the longest-running series of its kind, concluding in July 2020. With an impressive viewership exceeding 7 billion, it has also been adapted into a Netflix comedy and animation series, reflecting its widespread popularity.

Who’s Joining The Boomerang RPG: Watch Out Dude x The Sound of Your Heart Crossover?

The event brings beloved characters from The Sound of Your Heart into the game, each with their distinctive personalities. Players will encounter Jo Seok, the protagonist of the webtoon, alongside his formidable wife, Aebong, known for her no-nonsense approach to discipline. Joining them are Jjaeddanyo, the endearing father-in-law, and Buuk Suh, Jo’s friend who uniquely sheds flower petals when his health is low.

In the crossover event, your mission is to rescue Aebong, Jjaeddanyo, and Buuk Suh from the dungeon. Successfully clearing the town dungeons will allow these characters to join your team, enhancing your squad's capabilities to tackle enemies.

Adding to the excitement, Aebong has a sinister alter-ego known as Dark Aebong, who serves as the final boss in the dungeon. Her animations, directly inspired by the comic, showcase her intense reactions to Jo Seok's blunders, promising an engaging and entertaining battle. What Else Is New?

During the event, players can acquire the collaboration characters for free through the 21-Day Attendance Event. Additionally, the crossover introduces a range of limited-edition boomerangs, including quirky items like a drumstick, a golf club, a hair dryer, and a stylus. The Token Event allows players to collect tokens resembling kimchi, tomatoes, noodles, and chicken, which can be exchanged for unique magic effects or legendary boomerangs.
