Scheduled for release as part of the DC All In initiative, this six-issue series brings together two formidable villains, Cheetah and Cheshire, in a seemingly unlikely partnership. This collaboration harkens back to Rucka and Scott's earlier works at DC, with Cheetah playing a significant role in Rucka's two Wonder Woman runs and Cheshire being a key character in Scott's "Secret Six" series with writer Gail Simone.
DC's official synopsis teases an intricate plot where Cheetah and Cheshire meticulously plan and execute a daring heist, targeting the most secure facility in the DC Universe. Their goal is to steal one of the most dangerous devices in the DCU, requiring them to assemble a top-tier crew capable of outsmarting the Justice League. The challenge is immense, as they must navigate not only the sophisticated orbital platform and its AI-driven security system but also the formidable heroes of the DCU.
Rucka himself emphasized the high stakes, stating, "This is a crew of villains, or at least nominal bad guys. Not one of them has access to—let alone would be welcomed aboard—the Justice League Watchtower. We’re not making this easy on them. But for Cheetah especially, this is an all-or-nothing play—she needs to do this job, and she’s not going to let anything, or anyone, keep her from getting what she’s after."
"Cheetah and Cheshire Rob the Justice League #1" is slated for release on August 6, 2025, promising fans an exhilarating new chapter in the DC Universe.
