Square Enix is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the iconic JRPG, Chrono Trigger. The announcement promises various projects releasing throughout the year, fueling speculation among fans long awaiting a proper remaster or modern console release. Despite its legendary status and enduring popularity, Chrono Trigger has yet to receive a full remake or a modern console release beyond the original PlayStation port in 1999.
