"Experience the complete story that inspired the TV show with definitive versions of two award-winning games," states the official description for *The Last of Us Complete*, highlighting "graphical and gameplay improvements made possible by the PlayStation 5 console."

Play*The Last of Us Complete* not only includes both mainline stories but also all the bonus content released over the years. This encompasses the *Left Behind* Ellie-focused prequel DLC, as well as *The Last of Us Part 2*’s *No Return* and *Lost Levels* content. For fans captivated by the HBO TV series starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, this comprehensive digital bundle is available for $99.99.

According to a post on the PlayStation.Blog by Naughty Dog Head of Studio Neil Druckmann, the physical *The Last of Us Complete Collector’s Edition* is slated for release on July 10 for $109.99, with pre-orders available now. This edition comes packed with additional collectibles to justify the slightly higher price tag, including a Steelbook case, game discs, *The Last of Us: American Dreams* comics 1 – 4, four lithographic art prints, and a personal thank-you letter from Druckmann.

“From our entire studio, thank you so much for your incredible support for *The Last of Us* and Naughty Dog over the years,” Druckmann’s post expresses. “This is such an exciting moment for both the franchise and our teams. We are so humbled by your personal stories of what the series has meant to you, have marveled at your incredible Photo Mode shots, and inspired to keep pushing ourselves forward to create more stories and worlds you’ll love.”

Originally launched for the PS3 in 2013, *The Last of Us* series has remained a cherished part of the PlayStation catalog. Despite its numerous re-releases and remasters, which have sparked both criticism and praise, the journey of Joel and Ellie has been reimagined multiple times. The series made its way to the PS4 with enhanced graphics in 2014, saw a full remake for the PS5 in 2022, and *The Last of Us Part 2* continued Ellie’s story in 2020, receiving its own remaster in early 2024. Both games have also made their way to PC, with *The Last of Us Part 1* released in 2023 and *The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered* just last week.

*The Last of Us Complete* brings all of Naughty Dog’s post-apocalyptic narratives together in one comprehensive package, marking yet another re-release. While some may question the need for revisiting Joel and Ellie’s world yet again, the timing aligns perfectly with the premiere of HBO’s *The Last of Us* Season 2 this Sunday, with Season 3 having been greenlit just yesterday.
