The main Easter Egg in Citadelle Des Morts is filled with intricate puzzles, from attuning Points of Power to manipulating light beams to reveal a hidden brooch. One of the most challenging puzzles involves configuring the Summoning Circle Rings, a crucial step in acquiring the Balmung Elemental Sword.

How To Configure The Summoning Circle Rings on Citadelle Des Morts

To begin configuring the Summoning Circle Rings and obtain the Balmung Elemental Sword, you must first gather two essential items: the Raven Bastard Sword and an Antiquity. The Raven Bastard Sword can be obtained from the Raven Knight Statue in the Dining Hall by offering it a Stamp. The Antiquity can be found in the Alchemical Lab. If you're playing in Directed Mode, the locations of these items will be highlighted on your screen.

After securing an Antiquity, head to the Tavern Cellar, located directly opposite the fast travel point to the Entrance Hall, to activate the Summoning Circle. Here, you'll need to place both the Antiquity and the Raven Bastard Sword into the Summoning Circle by pressing the Interact Button.

With the items in place, you can now configure the Summoning Circle Rings. One ring features symbols of different elements, while the other displays Zodiac signs. The goal is to rotate the rings so that the Zodiac and elemental symbols closest to the arrow at the bottom of the puzzle align with those of the Antiquity you've inserted.
