Quilts and Cats of Calico, a charming puzzle game inspired by Studio Ghibli, is purrfectly poised for its mobile debut! Monster Couch and Flatout Games are bringing this board game-inspired title to Android and iOS devices on March 11th, following its successful launches on other platforms. The game initially premiered on PC in March 2024 and later arrived on the Nintendo Switch in December.
The PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One versions launched on February 11th.
A Cozy Crafting Experience:
Quilts and Cats of Calico challenges players to craft stunning quilts by strategically matching patterns and colors. Outsmart a rival quilter with ambitious plans, while pleasing a cast of discerning feline critics. Each cat possesses unique preferences, rewarding clever design choices. Beyond the satisfying gameplay, interact with the adorable cats – pet them, watch them nap on your creations, or gently nudge them aside. Extensive customization options allow you to create your own unique feline companion, selecting everything from fur color to outfits.
More Than Just a Board Game Adaptation:
While inspired by the board game Calico, Quilts and Cats of Calico isn't a direct port. The game introduces a campaign mode featuring unique rule variations, fresh mechanics, and a new setting. Engage in cross-platform multiplayer with ranked matches, weekly challenges, and leaderboards, or test your skills against AI opponents in solo mode.
