Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 2.21 Adds NVIDIA DLSS 4

CD Projekt RED has returned with another update for Cyberpunk 2077. This release not only includes bug fixes but also integrates cutting-edge NVIDIA technology into the game.

By adding DLSS 4 support, players with GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards will gain access to enhanced frame generation capabilities:

Starting January 30th, DLSS 4 will enable GeForce RTX 50 series owners to experience improved performance. The technology also accelerates frame generation on RTX 40 and 50 series GPUs while optimizing memory usage.

All GeForce RTX users can now choose between the convolutional neural network model or the new transform model for DLSS Ray Reconstruction, DLSS Super Resolution, and DLAA. The transform model delivers superior lighting effects, sharper details, and more stable image quality.

Technical improvements include fixes for visual interference and crashes when enabling DLSS ray reconstruction. The "Frame Creation" parameter now updates properly after disabling resolution scaling.

Key enhancements in Cyberpunk 2077 update 2.21:

Resolved vendor interaction issues that prevented conversation with some merchants. Fixed audio problems affecting TV news broadcasts, which were either missing or too quiet. Addressed an issue causing Johnny Silverhand to appear less frequently in the passenger seat. Corrected a bug that made certain items vanish when hiding NPCs. Fixed game freezing when simultaneously accessing photo mode and opening storage containers. Photo mode now allows placing Nibbles the cat and Adam Smasher as subjects when V is airborne or submerged. Enhanced the facial expression system for Adam Smasher.
