Dead Cells Launches Its Two Final Free Updates on Android

It's bittersweet news for Dead Cells Mobile fans: the free updates are ending! After years of consistent content since 2018, the final chapters are here. Let's dive into what awaits in the last updates, "Clean Cut" and "The End is Near," now available on Android.

While updates cease after these releases, the game remains playable. However, these final additions introduce a thrilling, cursed twist.

New Weapons, Skills, and Modes:

Four new weapons join the arsenal, including the giant Sewing Scissors and the high-risk, high-reward Misericorde sword. The Misericorde delivers massive critical hits on low-health enemies, but missing the finishing blow curses you. The Anathema, a heavy ranged weapon, explodes on impact but also curses you if it hits anything. Balancing this risk is the new Indulgence skill, unleashing a powerful light beam to clear curses and deal significant damage. The updates also introduce exciting new modes: Speedrun and Boss Rush DIY, plus 40 brand-new heads to customize your character, all selectable via a convenient new NPC.

Cursed Mutations and Enemies:

Prepare for a challenge with new mutations. Cursed Flask lets you use health flasks without consuming a charge, while Damned Vigor briefly prevents death, giving you a chance to eliminate a threatening enemy. Demonic Strength boosts damage when cursed, rewarding risk-taking.

New enemies heighten the difficulty. The Sore Loser curses you upon defeat, the Curser fires guided cursed skulls and slashes at close range, and the formidable Doom Bringer can instantly kill you if you accumulate over 50 curses.
