A Hidden Room Designed for Dual Mouse Controls

As revealed during the recent Nintendo Direct event on April 2, the Nintendo Switch 2 version of *Deltarune* will include both Chapters 3 and 4 at launch, along with exclusive enhancements tailored for the next-gen hardware. According to a recent Fangamer newsletter penned by *Deltarune* developer Toby Fox, one standout addition is a hidden “SPECIAL ROOM” crafted specifically for the Switch 2’s dual Joy-Con mouse functionality. Fox shared his excitement, saying: "So, we made a very small SPECIAL ROOM which takes advantage of using MOUSE CONTROLS ON TWO CONTROLLERS AT ONCE, only possible on the Nintendo Switch 2!!"

While players on older devices can still access the room, the experience will differ due to an alternate control scheme. Additionally, those who have played the demo versions of *Deltarune* Chapters 1 and 2 on the original Nintendo Switch can seamlessly import their save files into the new Switch 2 edition.

Future Chapters of Deltarune Will Be Free

The full version of *Deltarune* will be priced at $24.99 and will include all four released chapters—Chapters 1 and 2, originally launched in 2018 and 2021 respectively, as well as the upcoming paid Chapters 3 and 4. Previously, it was announced that future content beyond Chapter 2 would require additional purchases. However, developer Toby Fox has now confirmed that all future updates—including Chapters 5 and beyond—will be delivered as free downloads to existing owners.

Fox expressed his hope that players will feel the game becomes increasingly valuable over time: "But, it's my hope that as we complete more Chapters, you'll feel like this game was a super super super super good deal."

In addition, the official *Deltarune* soundtrack will be available on Steam for $14.99. The release of Chapters 3 and 4 will bring over 150 tracks, with all future songs added at no extra cost. This commitment to ongoing free content ensures fans get maximum value from their purchase.

The full *DELTARUNE* compilation featuring Chapters 1 through 4 will launch globally on June 5, 2025, coinciding with the Nintendo Switch 2 release. It will also be playable on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC platforms.
