Uncover the Secrets of Diablo 4's Forgotten Altars and Unleash Lost Powers!

The Season of the Maelstrom introduces Witchcraft Powers, categorized into Eldritch, Psyche, and Growth & Decay, accessible through The Coven questline. Progressing through this questline unlocks Altar upgrades near the Tree of Whispers. However, a more elusive type of Altar exists: the Forgotten Altars. These scattered locations yield potent Lost Powers, significantly enhancing your gameplay.

Unlike the standard Altars with fixed locations, Forgotten Altars randomly appear within Sanctuary's dungeons. This necessitates exploration and dungeon grinding, although the seasonal questline often leads you through dungeons, minimizing extra effort. The rewards, however, are well worth the hunt, as Lost Powers are among the game's most powerful abilities.

All Lost Powers in Diablo 4

Finding all Forgotten Altars unlocks the following Lost Powers:

Power Name	Power Description
Breath of the Coven	Applying Witchcraft Effects (Eldritch, Psyche, Growth & Decay) with damage or Crowd Control boosts Attack Speed by X for 10 seconds, stacking per unique effect. At Rank 8: 40% Lucky Hit chance when all three effects are active.
Hex Specialization	Increases Hex Effect potency by X. At Rank 10: 10% increased Critical Strike Chance against Hexed enemies.
Aura Specialization	Increases Aura Effect size by X. At Rank 10: 50% increased Critical Strike Damage against enemies within Aura Effects.
Piranhado	Afflicting an enemy with both Hex and Aura Effects summons a Piranhado, pulling in enemies and dealing X Physical damage over 12 seconds (once every 20 seconds). At Rank 5: Piranhado actively seeks nearby enemies.

Remember, once unlocked, Witchcraft Powers can be upgraded using Restless Rot obtained through quest completion.
