  • Solara is the first new map in three years
  • Celebrate Free Fire’s 8th anniversary with exclusive content in Solara
  • The Solarush! Event unlocks additional rewards through daily and themed challenges

Free Fire is celebrating its 8th anniversary in grand style with the arrival of Solara, the game’s first全新 map in three years, launching on May 21st. This vibrant, light-futuristic battleground blends high-speed movement with dynamic combat, setting the stage for a month-long celebration packed with rewards, surprises, and immersive sci-fi aesthetics.

Spanning 1,400 x 1,400 meters, the Solara map delivers a striking fusion of natural beauty and imaginative architecture. From the jacaranda-lined streets of Bloomtown to the sleek Studio and bustling Hub, each zone offers unique tactical advantages—all anchored by a dramatic twin-peaked mountain at the map’s center. The light sci-fi design is seamlessly integrated into the environment, giving Solara a fresh and futuristic feel.

Speed is at the core of Solara’s design. A full-map Slide system allows players to swiftly traverse zones, enhancing rotation efficiency. Along the way, on-rail Gloo Wall shields offer tactical protection, while color-shifting alert systems help detect nearby enemies—perfect for ambushes or quick getaways.

A dynamic weather system gradually transitions from day to dusk during matches, altering visibility and atmosphere. Iconic landmarks like the Funfair, TV Tower, and Riders Club evolve visually as daylight fades, adding a cinematic layer to every encounter. The map also encourages exploration with interactive zones and hidden Easter eggs—such as a secret underground chamber on Delta Isle and a heartfelt tribute to Kelly at the TV Tower.

Starting May 21st, players can collect limited-time 8th Anniversary Tokens at the Kelly Show scene to exchange for exclusive in-game rewards. For even more fun, don’t miss the Solarush! event, which runs alongside the map launch. Featuring a dedicated event interface, it offers daily and themed challenges that reward players with anniversary-themed gear, including a new emote, skyboard, parachute, and special animation effects.
