Fuecoco Takes the Spotlight in March's First Community Day

Pokemon GO has officially announced that Fuecoco will headline the first Community Day event of March on March 8, 2025, previously announced on February 11, 2025.

During the event, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time, Fuecoco will appear more frequently across the map, offering players a heightened chance to encounter its Shiny variant. Evolving Fuecoco into Skeledirge (via Crocalor) during the event or within a week after will teach it the Charged Attack Blast Burn. Skeledirge can also learn the Charged Attack Torch Song without any time limitations.

A Special Background Timed Research will also be available, rewarding trainers with a Fuecoco encounter featuring a Seasonal Special Background. Completing these tasks will further boost the Shiny rate for Fuecoco encounters, and they must be completed by March 15, 2025, at 10:00 pm local time.

For an additional $2.00, players can access the exclusive Community Day Special Research, which includes Battle Pass rewards, Rare Candies, and three Fuecoco encounters, all boasting a Seasonal Special Background. This ticket can be purchased and gifted to friends at a Great Friends level or higher.

Upcoming Community Days Dates for March and Beyond

In addition to Fuecoco's spotlight, Pokemon GO has unveiled the schedule for Community Day events from March to May 2025, all set for weekends:

• Sunday, April 27, 2025
• Sunday, May 11, 2025
• Saturday, May 24, 2025 (Community Day Classic)

The Community Day Classic events will revisit popular Pokemon like Ralts, offering players a chance to engage with past highlights. While new Pokemon will feature on the other dates, their identities remain under wraps for now.

Choosing Between Candela and Arlo

The Beloved Buddies event, which debuted Dhelmise, includes a Timed Research that branches into two distinct paths, each tied to beloved characters: Candela of Team Valor and Arlo of Team GO Rocket.

Both paths start with common tasks, rewarding players with Ultra Balls and encounters with Remoraid and Mantine. Following this, players must choose their preferred route:

• Candela's Path: Focused on strengthening bonds with your Buddy Pokemon, this route offers Poffins, Stardust, Ultra Balls, and encounters with Luvdisc, Shellder, and Rapidash.

• Arlo's Path: Centered around catching Pokemon and battling, this path provides the same item rewards plus a Pocket Radar, and encounters with Cubone, Slowpoke, and Scizor.
