Exciting news for Genshin Impact fans—update 5.5 is bringing us a new character straight from the developers at miHoYo (HoYoverse)! While insiders had already leaked the concept art and gameplay, this time, it's official: meet Varesa, the new 5-star Electro character who wields a Catalyst.

Iansan, a familiar face in the game, describes Varesa as her most peculiar student:

Joining Varesa in update 5.5 is Iansan, who transitions from an NPC to a playable character. Iansan, a 4-star Electro user, wields a Polearm and is known as Natlan’s top trainer.
