Conquer Fortnite as Godzilla: A Guide to Becoming and Defeating the King of the Monsters
Godzilla, the iconic kaiju, is stomping onto Fortnite's Battle Royale Island! One lucky player per match gets to control this behemoth. This guide details how to become Godzilla and how to defeat him if you're among the 99 others.
Becoming Godzilla:
Starting January 17th, 2025, a rift will randomly appear on the island in each match. Be the first to locate and enter this rift to transform into Godzilla!
As Godzilla, you'll unleash three devastating moves: a Roar to pinpoint nearby players, a Mighty Stomp Attack to send them flying, and a powerful Heat Ray to inflict significant damage. However, be warned – the entire lobby will be gunning for you!
Defeating Godzilla:
If you're not the chosen one, prepare for an epic battle! Godzilla has weak points; targeting these will cause Godzilla Fragments to drop, providing 40 health and three dash charges. Mobility is key, making dashes invaluable.
The Rail Gun, unvaulted for this event, is a powerful weapon for dealing substantial damage quickly. Higher-rarity weapons are also effective. The player who inflicts the most damage on Godzilla earns the Godzilla Medallion (with a dash ability) and the exotic Burst Quad Launcher – a fantastic consolation prize!
Adding "defeating Godzilla" to your Fortnite resume is quite the accomplishment.
