"World of Goo 2: Mobile Physics Puzzles Launched"

After an eagerly anticipated wait, fans of the beloved puzzle game can rejoice as World of Goo (mobile) returns with its full sequel. 2DBOY and Tomorrow Corporation have officially released World of Goo 2 on mobile platforms, alongside its launch on Steam, PlayStation 5, and iOS for Android users.

A Ton of New Stuff

World of Goo 2 Mobile introduces a plethora of new features, including over 30 additional achievements to unlock. The game also marks a milestone for 2DBOY and Tomorrow Corporation with the introduction of an options menu, a first for their titles.

Originally released on Windows in October 2008, the first World of Goo captivated players with its innovative mechanics of constructing bridges and towers using goo balls, all while battling the forces of physics and gravity.

The sequel takes this concept further by incorporating realistic flowing, splashing, and viscous liquid dynamics. Players can now manipulate this liquid like a river, transform it into Goo Balls, extinguish fires, and tackle absurd puzzles.

World of Goo 2 Mobile also introduces new types of Goo, such as Jelly Goo, Liquid Launchers, Growing Goo, Shrinking Goo, Explosive Goo, and more. Experimenting with these diverse Goo species promises to be an exciting challenge as players discover how they interact.

There Are a Lot of Levels to Chew Through in the World of Goo 2 Mobile

The game features a new narrative spanning five chapters, offering over 60 new levels, each packed with additional challenges. The storyline ambitiously covers a timeline of hundreds of thousands of years.

Players will collaborate with a mysterious corporation that touts its eco-friendly initiatives, aiming to amass as much Goo as possible. However, beneath the surface, there's a deeper mystery waiting to be unraveled as you progress through the game.
