As a devoted fan of the Harry Potter series, I find that re-reading the books is always a delightful experience, capturing the magic and excitement just as vividly as the first time. Yet, there's something special about exploring the wizarding world through different mediums. While the movies offer a visual feast, the illustrated editions of the books provide a unique and engaging way to revisit the story. Though the full series of illustrated books is still in progress, fans have an exciting new option to look forward to: an interactive edition of "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" set to release in October, which is now available for preorder.
This new interactive edition should not be confused with Jim Kay's beautifully illustrated versions. Instead, it features stunning illustrations alongside innovative paper-engineered elements that bring the pages to life, much like a pop-up book. You can preorder this captivating edition at both Barnes & Noble and Amazon, with the latter offering the best discount.

This illustrated edition boasts 150 full-color illustrations and interactive elements designed to enchant readers. Illustrated by Karl James Mountford and with papercraft designs by Jess Tice-Gilbert, this book marks a new direction following the discontinuation of the MinaLima interactive editions after "The Prisoner of Azkaban." Although the style and interactive features differ from previous editions, it's a welcome addition for collectors eager to complete their sets.

For those interested in Jim Kay's illustrated editions, note that they currently extend only through the fifth book. In 2022, Kay stepped away from the project, leaving the completion of "The Half-Blood Prince" and "The Deathly Hallows" uncertain. However, there remains hope that another talented illustrator might step in to finish the series.
