Eagle-eyed fans of Helldivers 2 have recently stumbled upon what appears to be a leak from PlayStation, hinting at an upcoming battle against the Illuminate on the streets of Super Earth. This week, developer Arrowhead Game Studios rolled out the full Illuminate invasion, introducing new enemy types to the game. The in-game narrative suggested that the Illuminate were set to head straight for Super Earth, and a now-deleted post from the official Czech Republic PlayStation Threads account has further fueled speculations. The leak mentioned a "Heart of Democracy" update scheduled for May 20, although neither Sony nor Arrowhead have officially confirmed this date in relation to the update.
The excitement around this potential leak is heightened by the fact that a May 20 release aligns perfectly with the conclusion of the current Major Order in the game. Social media posts, such as one from user IronS1ghts on X (formerly Twitter), shared the now-deleted information, adding credibility to the speculation.
Official Playstation account for the Czech Republic dropped info on the next title update.

Both Sony and Arrowhead have used wording that suggests a battle on Super Earth is "inevitable," with statements like "High Command believes this Fleet's ultimate objective to be the invasion of Super Earth itself" and "Battle on Super Earth is inevitable." This has led fans to believe that the Czech account inadvertently revealed details about Helldivers 2's next major update, which would see players defending their home planet.
If these leaks are accurate, this update would represent a significant evolution for Helldivers 2, an explosive third-person action game that currently features battles on alien planets. Introducing Super Earth as a battleground would undoubtedly offer a fresh and exciting gameplay experience for fans.
