Unfrozen has unveiled an exciting new gameplay trailer for *Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era*, giving fans a deep dive into the strategy game's core mechanics, diverse units, and immersive gameplay experience. Alongside this, the studio has opened registration for the closed beta test of the highly anticipated "Arena" mode. Eager players can secure their spot by visiting the game’s Steam page, with the testing phase scheduled to run from March 17 to March 28.
Set to enter early access on Steam in the second quarter of 2025, *Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era* promises a rich gaming experience at launch, featuring six unique factions, three engaging single-player modes, and three dynamic multiplayer options. Ubisoft, the game's publisher, is poised to bring this eagerly awaited title to a wide audience.
In recent updates, the developers introduced the Dungeon faction, adding a new layer of strategic depth with units such as troglodytes, dark elves, minotaurs, medusas, hydras, and dragons. These additions promise to enhance the battlefield dynamics significantly, offering players more ways to strategize and conquer.
Unfrozen has been open about the challenges they encountered while developing the Arena mode, particularly in balancing skills and heroes within the mode's constraints. However, the team has successfully overcome these hurdles, ensuring that the Arena mode will deliver a smooth and engaging experience for all players.
While *Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era* is slated for a PC release later this year, an exact launch date has yet to be confirmed. The developers are committed to crafting a game that appeals to both long-time fans of the series and newcomers, promising a strategic experience that will captivate all who venture into the Olden Era.
