Honkai Impact 3rd Set to Drop v8.1 Update ‘Drumming in New Resolutions’

Get ready, Honkai Impact 3rd fans! The much-anticipated v8.1 update, "Drumming in New Resolutions," is set to launch on February 20th, bringing with it a slew of exciting new content. From new battlesuits and outfits to generous anniversary rewards, there’s plenty to be excited about.

Let’s Look at What’s New

Kiana is making a fiery return with her new SD-type battlesuit, Ba-Dum! Fiery Wishing Star. This new addition is all set to ignite the battlefield with her long staff and a dynamic 4-sequence attack that deals Fire DMG while stacking Passion Marks for powerful AOE damage. Her recommended weapon and PRI-ARM are designed to amplify her fiery capabilities even further, ensuring that enemies won't just feel the heat—they'll be engulfed by it. Herrscher of Human: Ego isn't left behind, receiving new gear including a recommended Divine Key, PRI-ARM, and a matching stigmata set.

On the story front, Honkai Impact 3rd v8.1 delves deeper into Leylah's narrative. Following the dramatic Spring Festival dream crisis in v8.0, Kiana returns to reality, teaming up with Rice Cake for a new mission assigned by Theresa. Their destination? The Moon Base, where a festive celebration awaits. As you progress through the interlude, you'll have the chance to earn Crystals, Source Prisms, and a host of other goodies.

Adding to the fun, there's a board game feature where you can activate and collect Yearly Chibis to bolster your team. Plus, you can amass shop tokens, which you can then exchange for Crystals, Coralie’s new outfit, and a variety of other rewards.

And Who Else Is Getting New Looks?

In addition to Coralie, Luna and Vita are also getting stylish makeovers. Luna’s new outfit can be obtained through spend bonuses, while Vita’s new look will be available in the Outfit Supply. These fresh ensembles are sure to add a touch of flair to your gameplay.

The anniversary celebration brings a bounty of rewards. Simply logging in daily for seven days will net you a Prism Stigma Direct Level-Up Coupon, an anniversary emblem, and more. Continue your login streak for another seven days post-update, and you’ll unlock Kiana’s Stigma Option, Herrscher of Human’s new Stigma Option, and 10 Equipment Supply Cards.

Between February 25th and March 4th, consistent logins will reward you with an S-rank Battlesuit Option, Battlesuit Supply Cards, Crystals, and additional goodies. As a special thank-you, everyone will receive five Battlesuit Supply Cards when the update goes live.
