Marvel has unveiled the first trailer for "Ironheart," the eagerly awaited MCU series set to premiere on Disney+. Dominique Thorne returns as the armored superhero Riri Williams, a character she first portrayed in "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" in 2022, joined by Anthony Ramos as Parker Robbins, also known as The Hood. The trailer offers a glimpse into the series, which delves into Riri Williams' transformation into a prominent superhero, following her initial appearance in the MCU.
The trailer introduces The Hood as a figure who appears to guide Williams in realizing her potential, though it hints at deeper, possibly sinister motives."Ironheart," executive produced by Ryan Coogler, will kick off with a three-episode premiere on June 24 at 6pm PT/9pm ET on Disney+.
In the trailer, Riri refers to her Wakanda Forever experience as an "internship abroad." After being expelled from MIT, The Hood challenges her with the question, "Anyone who has accomplished anything has to do questionable things. Are you in or out?" We see Riri don her Ironheart suit, take flight, and engage in intense action, including a scene where she punches a truck, sending it soaring over her head.

Marvel's upcoming slate includes more than just Ironheart. Another series branching from the Black Panther universe is "Eyes of Wakanda," a four-episode animated mini-series focusing on the Hatut Zaraze, an elite group of Wakandan warriors. It is scheduled to launch on August 6.
Additionally, Marvel is set to release "Marvel Zombies," another four-episode animated series premiering on October 3. This show is set in the zombie-infested reality introduced in the first season of "What If…?" and will feature returning MCU actors like Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Awkwafina as Katy Chen, Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, and Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan.
The lineup concludes with the live-action series "Wonder Man," slated for a December 2025 premiere. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II stars as Simon Williams, a superpowered actor and recurring member of the Avengers in the comics. Ben Kingsley reprises his role as Trevor Slattery, the actor who portrayed the fake Mandarin in "Iron Man 3," and Demetrius Grosse will play Simon's villainous brother, the Grim Reaper.
