by Thomas May 17,2025

Marvel has unveiled the first trailer for "Ironheart," the eagerly awaited MCU series set to premiere on Disney+. Dominique Thorne returns as the armored superhero Riri Williams, a character she first portrayed in "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" in 2022, joined by Anthony Ramos as Parker Robbins, also known as The Hood. The trailer offers a glimpse into the series, which delves into Riri Williams' transformation into a prominent superhero, following her initial appearance in the MCU.

PlayThe trailer introduces The Hood as a figure who appears to guide Williams in realizing her potential, though it hints at deeper, possibly sinister motives.

"Ironheart," executive produced by Ryan Coogler, will kick off with a three-episode premiere on June 24 at 6pm PT/9pm ET on Disney+.

In the trailer, Riri refers to her Wakanda Forever experience as an "internship abroad." After being expelled from MIT, The Hood challenges her with the question, "Anyone who has accomplished anything has to do questionable things. Are you in or out?" We see Riri don her Ironheart suit, take flight, and engage in intense action, including a scene where she punches a truck, sending it soaring over her head.
