Kingdom Come: Deliverance II launched in significantly better shape than its predecessor, but even ambitious RPGs with sprawling designs aren't immune to technical hiccups. Warhorse Studios remains committed to post-launch refinement, and their next patch promises to be a massive undertaking.
In a recent interview with Tech4gamers, global PR manager Tobias Stolz-Zwilling revealed the upcoming patch addresses over 1,000 bugs.
"This patch has been in development for over five months and includes well over a thousand fixes."
Naturally, players are curious if this extensive patch will include more than just bug fixes, perhaps introducing new gameplay mechanics or quality-of-life improvements. The lengthy development time fuels hopes for substantial enhancements, but specifics remain under wraps until the official patch notes are released.

Furthermore, Warhorse confirmed official mod support is arriving within the next two weeks. However, initial modding capabilities will be limited; creating custom missions, for example, won't be immediately possible. The studio plans to expand modding tools in future updates. A precise release date for the patch is yet to be announced.
