Curious about the origins of the Avengers? Wondering what Odin was up to before Thor and Loki entered the scene? Or perhaps you're intrigued by Agamotto, the first Sorcerer Supreme? Marvel Snap's latest season, Prehistoric Avengers, dives deep into these fascinating backstories, bringing these iconic characters to life in a whole new way.
This season introduces prehistoric versions of the Avengers, including the first Black Panther, the original Phoenix host Firehair, Agamotto, and even Khonshu. These characters come with intricate and powerful abilities that can significantly enhance your gameplay.
Agamotto brings a fresh twist with the introduction of a new card type: Skills. These cards represent actions and abilities rather than characters. When played, they are Banished, meaning they're gone for good, but they come with the advantage of costing less Energy to play, despite having no Power.
But the excitement doesn't stop there! Marvel Snap's latest season also introduces two new locations to spice up your strategy. The Star Brand crater rewards you with additional energy if you have the highest power there, while the Celestial Burial Ground lets you discard a card and replace it with another of the same cost.
In addition to these new elements, you can look forward to new Spotlight Caches featuring top-level cards, both old and new. Variant card art and more exciting features are also making their debut. The return of the High Voltage mode will electrify the pace of your Marvel Snap matches, adding an extra layer of thrill to your gameplay.
Before you jump back into the action, make sure you're equipped with the best cards. Check out our comprehensive Marvel Snap tier list, where we rank cards from best to worst. Even if you don't agree with our rankings, our detailed explanations will give you valuable insights to help you strategize effectively.
