The rumor mill is churning with speculation about Mortal Kombat 1's future DLC, with many believing the upcoming T-1000 will be the final character added to the roster. However, let's focus on the exciting news: a fresh gameplay trailer showcasing the Liquid Terminator himself has just dropped!
Unlike some flashier, more agile DLC fighters, T-1000's strength lies in his signature ability to morph into liquid metal. This unique mechanic allows for creative dodging and devastating extended combos.
His Fatality, naturally, pays homage to Terminator 2: Judgment Day, featuring a giant truck reminiscent of the iconic chase scene. While the full Fatality wasn't revealed in the trailer (likely to avoid an excessive rating and maintain some mystery), what we've seen is undeniably brutal.
T-1000 arrives on March 18th, alongside a new Kameo fighter, Madam Bo. As for the future of Mortal Kombat 1 DLC beyond this point? Ed Boon and NetherRealm Studios remain tight-lipped for now.
