Get ready to ignite your engines and assemble your crew as Wizards of the Coast introduces the thrilling new Magic: The Gathering expansion, Aetherdrift. Drawing inspiration from the high-octane world of professional racing and reminiscent of the iconic visuals of Tron, Aetherdrift brings a dynamic array of artifact vehicles to the table. The expansion introduces two exciting new mechanics, "Speed" and "Exhaust," that will rev up your gameplay experience. Aetherdrift isn't just about speed; it's a multiversal adventure that spans across the planes of Avishkar, Amonkhet, and Muraganda as part of the exhilarating "Death Race."
For Magic: The Gathering enthusiasts and newcomers alike, your local game shop is the perfect place to dive into Aetherdrift. From booster packs to event exclusives like Prerelease Sets, local stores offer a treasure trove of options. They're also the best spot to learn more about the game, ask questions, and discover new expansions and game modes.
If you're planning to buy in bulk, major retailers have you covered. With the Aetherdrift expansion set to release on February 14, here's a comprehensive list of everything you can preorder:

When it comes to bulk-buying Aetherdrift boosters, you have two options: the Play Booster Box, which contains 30 Play Booster Packs, and the more expensive Collector Booster Box, which includes 12 Collector Booster Packs. Both types of Booster Boxes come with foil "Box Topper" cards.

If you're looking to quickly build or upgrade a deck, Play Boosters are your best bet. However, it's worth noting that previous Play Booster Boxes, such as those for the recent Duskmourn expansion, contained 36 Play Boosters, whereas Aetherdrift offers 30. If you're after alternate art and Mythic foils, the Collector Box might be the right choice for you.
Aetherdrift introduces two new Commander Decks, both available for preorder. These decks are designed for the increasingly popular Commander game mode, which allows for multiplayer fun. Commander Decks are a cost-effective way to get started with 100 ready-to-play cards, making them an excellent choice for Magic beginners. Each deck comes with a foil commander, a set of synergistic cards, and a Collector Booster Sample Pack for added excitement.

Both Commander Decks are available for around $50, with a bundle option including two copies of each deck for $180. You can view the full Commander Decklists here to see exactly what you're getting.
