Nintendo has just announced an exciting Nintendo Direct presentation scheduled for tomorrow. Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming Direct and what to anticipate.
Nintendo of America has confirmed that a Nintendo Direct will be broadcast tomorrow, March 27, at 7:00 AM PT / 10:00 A.M. ET. This 30-minute showcase is set to focus on updates for upcoming games on the Nintendo Switch. However, fans eager for news about the Nintendo Switch 2 will need to wait a bit longer; that reveal is slated for April 2. Nintendo has made it clear that "there will be no updates about Nintendo Switch 2 during this presentation."
You can check the timetable below to find out what time the livestream starts in your region:
While Nintendo is keeping details under wraps, the gaming community is buzzing with speculation about what might be announced. One of the most anticipated titles is Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, which has been in the works since its reveal at E3 2017.
Rumors are also circulating about Pokémon Legends: Z-A, a remastered version of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD, and a new Mario Kart game hinted at during the Nintendo Switch 2 announcement. Additionally, with recent buzz around Hollow Knight: Silksong, fans are hopeful for a release date announcement.
It's important to note that while the Direct focuses on the current Switch lineup, Nintendo has confirmed that the upcoming Switch 2 will support backward compatibility. This means that any games announced in the Direct can also be enjoyed on the new console.
As we approach the presentation, excitement is building. Will there be surprise announcements? Only time will tell. But one thing is certain: Nintendo always knows how to keep its audience eagerly anticipating what's next.
