Get ready for some buggy fun! Pokémon GO's Bug Out event is buzzing with activity, celebrating the season's shift with a focus on bug-type Pokémon. This event offers fantastic opportunities to catch these critters, boosted by exciting bonuses and brand-new avatar items.
The Pokémon GO Bug Out event runs from March 26th, 10 AM to March 30th, 8 PM local time. That's five days packed with bug-catching excitement! This event is also a prime time for Shiny hunting, with many featured Pokémon boasting Shiny variants.
Prepare for increased wild encounters with these bug-type Pokémon: Caterpie, Weedle, Wurmple, Nincada, Venipede, Dwebble, Joltik, Grubbin, Dewpider, Nymble, and Cutiefly (with Shiny potential!).
Two new Pokémon are making their debut: Sizzlipede and its evolution, Centiskorch (evolves from 50 Sizzlipede Candy).
Raid battles will feature:
One-Star Raids: Scyther (Shiny), Nincada (Shiny), Sizzlipede Three-Star Raids: Beedrill (Shiny), Scizor (Shiny), Kleavor* (Shiny)

Spin PokéStops for event-themed Field Research tasks, rewarding Mega Energy, Scatterbug Candy, and Pokémon encounters. Timed Research offers a Lure Module and Pokémon encounters, while Paid Timed Research includes a Lure Module, two Premium Battle Passes, and more Pokémon encounters. Remember to claim rewards before the event ends!
New avatar items, including Sizzlipede Boots and a Scolipede Jacket, will be available in the in-game shop.
