The latest expansion for Pokémon TCG Pocket, titled Shining Revelry, has brought a dazzling array of over 110 new cards into the game, including shiny variants that are sure to catch the eye of any collector. With additions from the Paldea region, this update is a treasure trove for fans eager to expand their collections. As soon as the update dropped, I couldn't resist using my Pack Hourglasses to open ten packs, and to my delight, I pulled a Charizard EX, though the rest of the haul was less exciting. However, pulling a Pokémon Center Lady card was a pleasant surprise, as her ability to heal Special Conditions can be a game-changer when facing off against opponents who rely on debilitating effects like Burn.
Alongside the new cards, the update introduces an exciting Emblem event, allowing players to earn stylish new badges to show off to their friends. But the real thrill comes with the introduction of Ranked Matches, where you can test your skills against other Trainers. Starting from Beginner and aiming for the coveted Master Ball Rank, you'll earn points throughout the season, which lasts approximately one month, culminating in a special emblem to commemorate your achievements. It's time to dust off those dueling skills and start crafting competitive decks.
If you're eager to dive into the action, Pokémon TCG Pocket is available for free on the App Store and Google Play, with in-app purchases available for those looking to enhance their experience.
