For fans of Pokémon Go, Raid Days are always a promise of excitement and new opportunities. The upcoming event on Saturday, May 3rd from 3pm to 5pm local time is no exception, with the return of Mega Kangaskhan in the latest raid. This event is particularly thrilling for players, as Kangaskhan is typically region-locked, providing a unique chance to complete your Kanto Pokédex.
To enhance your Raid Day experience, Niantic is raising the Remote Raid Pass limit to 20, effective from 5pm PDT on Saturday, May 2nd until 8pm on May 3rd. Additionally, you can earn five extra Raid Passes by spinning Gym Discs, and there's an increased chance of encountering a Shiny Kangaskhan during Mega Raids. Whether you're looking to complete your Pokédex or strengthen your Pokémon team, this Raid Day is a golden opportunity.
To further sweeten the deal, you can purchase an Event Pass for $4.99 or its regional equivalent. This pass will grant you eight additional Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs, bumping your daily total to 14. You'll also have a chance to earn Rare Candy XL, receive 50% more XP, and collect 2x Stardust from Raid Battles.
Don't miss out on the free Timed Research available during the event. By completing it, you can earn 10,000 Stardust, and participating in a Raid Battle will net you an additional 1,000 Stardust, along with other rewards. Remember to claim these before 5pm local time on May 3rd!
