Lunar New Year Event: January 29 – February 2

The Lunar New Year 2025 event, celebrating the Year of the Snake, runs from January 29 to February 2 at 08:00 PM local time. This event enhances your Pokémon GO experience with increased spawn rates of snake-themed Pokémon. Here's a list of Pokémon with boosted encounter rates during this event:

On February 9, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time, Pokémon GO will host a dual Community Day for Karrablast and Shelmet. Evolving Karrablast or Shelmet by February 16, 2025, at 10:00 PM will grant you an Escavalier with the Charged Attack Razor Shell or an Accelgor with Energy Ball, respectively.
