NetEase Games and Naked Rain's mysterious Project Mugen finally has a name—and it's a doozy: Ananta. A new PV and teaser trailer showcase the urban, open-world RPG, offering a clearer picture of what awaits players. The video highlights Nova City, a sprawling metropolis teeming with diverse characters and a looming threat of otherworldly beings known as the forces of Chaos.
While comparisons to MiHoYo's titles, particularly Zenless Zone Zero, are inevitable, Ananta boasts unique elements, especially in its movement mechanics. The preview showcases impressive traversal abilities, raising questions about the scope of exploration within Nova City. Will traversal be limited to specific areas, or will players enjoy truly free-roaming movement reminiscent of Spider-Man?
