In the immersive world of *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, ensuring your character is properly shod is crucial for your journey. Your shoes will inevitably wear down, leaving you to navigate the game's terrain barefoot until you manage to acquire new ones or repair the old. Here's a comprehensive guide on how to obtain and maintain your footwear in the game.
While tailors, such as those in Troskowitz, sell shoes, they typically don't offer the best stats. For superior footwear, seek out a cobbler. You can find a cobbler in Trosky, identifiable on the map by a symbol resembling three red pieces in a circle, as depicted below.
Alternatively, if you wish to repair your shoes yourself, you'll need a Cobbler’s Kit. Your ability to do so depends on your Craftsmanship level; if it's insufficient, you won't be able to repair your gear. Cobbler’s Kits are available from cobblers, blacksmiths, and can occasionally be found in chests or looted from NPCs. To use a Cobbler’s Kit, navigate to your inventory, select the kit, and press the interact button (E on PC). This opens a menu of damaged items that can be repaired with the kit. Items that appear faded cannot be repaired due to your skill level being too low. Select the items you wish to repair and press the interact button again to proceed with the repair.
This guide covers the essentials of obtaining and repairing shoes in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. For other gear, such as armor, you can apply similar principles using a Blacksmith’s Kit. Remember, maintaining your equipment in good condition is key to a successful adventure in the game.
