Housemarque's Saros, revealed during February 2025's State of Play, is slated for release on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro sometime in 2026. Building upon the thrilling gameplay of their acclaimed title, Returnal, Saros introduces a new narrative centered around Arjun Devraj, portrayed by actor Rahul Kohli.
According to Housemarque's creative director, Gregoy Louden, Saros was conceived to allow Returnal to stand alone, establishing a distinct new IP. While iterating on Returnal's compelling storytelling and mechanics, Saros introduces a system of permanent and evolving loadouts—weapons and suits—empowering players to "Come Back Stronger" and overcome challenges.
Further gameplay details will be revealed later in 2025.
