Scarlett Johansson Battles Dinosaurs in Jurassic World Rebirth Trailer

Universal has unveiled the first trailer for *Jurassic World Rebirth*, giving fans an exciting glimpse into the highly anticipated action film set to hit theaters in July. The trailer introduces us to a team led by Scarlett Johansson, venturing to a remote island housing dinosaurs considered too perilous for the original park. This island also serves as a hidden research facility from the original Jurassic Park.

Anchored by iconic action superstar Scarlett Johansson, breakthrough talent Jonathan Bailey, and two-time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali, this action-packed new chapter sees an intrepid team racing to secure DNA samples from the three most colossal creatures across land, sea, and air. Also starring acclaimed international stars Rupert Friend and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, the film is directed by dynamic visualist Gareth Edwards (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) from a script by original Jurassic Park screenwriter David Koepp.

Five years post-Jurassic World Dominion, the planet's ecology has largely rejected dinosaurs, confining them to isolated equatorial zones with climates mirroring their ancient habitats. Within this tropical biosphere, the three most colossal creatures hold the key to a drug that promises miraculous life-saving benefits for humanity.

Academy Award nominee Johansson portrays skilled covert operations expert Zora Bennett, tasked with leading a specialized team on a covert mission to extract genetic material from the world's largest dinosaurs. When Zora's mission collides with a civilian family whose boat was overturned by rogue aquatic dinosaurs, they all find themselves stranded on an island, uncovering a sinister and shocking secret that has been concealed from the world for decades.

Ali plays Duncan Kincaid, Zora’s trusted team leader; Emmy nominee and Olivier Award winner Jonathan Bailey (Wicked, Bridgerton) portrays paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomis; Emmy nominee Rupert Friend (Homeland, Obi-Wan Kenobi) plays Big Pharma representative Martin Krebs, and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (The Lincoln Lawyer, Murder on the Orient Express) plays Reuben Delgado, the father of the shipwrecked civilian family.

The cast is rounded out by Luna Blaise (Manifest), David Iacono (The Summer I Turned Pretty), and Audrina Miranda (Lopez vs. Lopez) as Reuben’s family. The film also features Philippine Velge (Station Eleven), Bechir Sylvain (BMF), and Ed Skrein (Deadpool) as members of Zora and Krebs’ crews.
