Astro Bot Rescue Mission offers a wealth of exploration beyond its main levels. Ten hidden portals lead to the secret Lost Galaxy, accessible only by finding them within the game's standard worlds. Each portal is cleverly concealed, requiring players to solve puzzles or utilize specific abilities. This guide details the location and method for accessing each portal.

Hidden Portal #1: Az-Tech Trail

Mid-level, locate a dark room with four lit torches surrounding a wall. Extinguish all four torches using the Twin-Frog Gloves to reveal the portal.

Hidden Portal #2: Creamy Canyon

Early in the level, find a snowy area with a ladybug enemy. Grab the charging pig, swing it towards the icy statue, and release it to destroy the statue. Backtrack, jump over the ladybug, and perform a charged spin attack to access the hidden room containing the portal.

Hidden Portal #3: Go-Go Archipelago

After defeating Captain Pincher, locate a glowing spot near his embedded claw. Perform a charged spin attack to uncover a hidden room with treasure and the portal.

Hidden Portal #4: Downsize Surprise

Near the level's end, find a bubble-blowing frog. Blow into your controller to activate the bubbles, shrink down, and ride a bubble to a higher branch. Navigate to the opposite branch to find the portal.

Hidden Portal #5: Free Big Brother!

At the level's start, turn around and lure the electric enemy to electrocute the platforms, revealing the hidden portal.

Hidden Portal #6: Bathhouse Battle

Find the house with a flaming chimney. Absorb water, reach the roof, extinguish the flames, and descend the chimney to find the portal.

Hidden Portal #7: Hieiroglitch Pyramid

At the level's end, locate a bounce pad near falling jewels. This leads to a trap; find two hidden switches to open the path to the portal.

Hidden Portal #8: Balloon Breeze

Obtain the pufferfish power-up. Near the level's start, use the pufferfish and Astro's hover ability to reach a platform, then use motion controls to clear bamboo surrounding the portal. Activate it by circling the perimeter.

Hidden Portal #9: Djinny of the Lamp

After defeating Djinny, climb the ruins, using Astro's hover ability to reach invisible platforms indicated by glowing ground sections. Ride the rug to the final platform holding the portal.

Hidden Portal #10: Frozen Meal

Before the boss fight, roll a snowball into a large ball and use it as a platform to reach the cliffside and the final portal.
