Announced back in June 2020, with glimpses shared since, skate. is finally ready for its console playtest on PlayStation and Xbox. While a PC beta date remains unannounced, fans can register as Insiders to stay updated.

According to the game's official X (formerly Twitter) account, console playtesting has been underway since at least December, possibly even September, as seen in recent highlight reels. However, developer Full Circle continues to welcome new players to join the playtesting program as development progresses.

skate. is slated for Early Access release sometime in 2025. This marks the franchise's return after nearly a decade since Skate 3, launching on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Set in the fictional city of San Vansterdam, it promises a free-to-play, live-service experience delivering an "authentic evolution" of the nearly 20-year-old series, as detailed in a previous Full Circle YouTube interview.
