Solar Opposites, the beloved adult animated sitcom, is set to conclude with its sixth and final season. Hulu confirmed today that fans can look forward to the premiere sometime in the last quarter of 2025. While the show was renewed for Season 6 in mid-2024, it wasn't until now that it was revealed this would be the series' swan song.
Since its debut in 2020, Solar Opposites has captured audiences with its unique blend of humor and storytelling. The series follows the adventures of an alien family stranded on Earth after escaping their planet's destruction. This show was brought to life by the creative minds of Mike McMahan, known for Star Trek: Lower Decks, and Justin Roiland, co-creator of Rick & Morty.
In 2023, Roiland faced charges of domestic violence, which led to his removal from the show. Although the charges were later dropped, Roiland was replaced as the lead voice actor by the talented English actor, Dan Stevens, ensuring the show's continuity and quality.
