The gaming world is no stranger to competitive elements, and it seems like every title is vying for a piece of the esports pie. Netmarble's Solo Leveling: Arise Championship 2025 is the latest to join the fray, aiming to leverage the popularity of its manhwa-inspired game. The prelims are set to kick off on February 21st, with players racing against the clock to achieve the fastest clear times on four maps from the Battlefield of Time season 7.
To participate, players must have accumulated at least 1000 points in the current season. The competition will be divided into an Asian and International league, running from February 21st to March 9th. Competitors will combine their fastest times across the four maps to determine their overall rank. The top eight players from each league will advance to the grand finals in Korea on April 12th, where they'll compete for the lion's share of a hefty 20 million KRW prize pool.
While the idea of a competitive championship for a primarily single-player game like Solo Leveling: Arise might raise some eyebrows, the popularity of the manhwa and the vibrant esports scene in South Korea suggest this event will attract significant attention.
