Stardew Valley Update 1.6 Is Coming To Mobile This November!

Stardew Valley's highly anticipated 1.6 update finally arrives on mobile devices on November 4th, 2024! Console and mobile gamers can rejoice after months of waiting, as this major update—initially released on PC in March 2024—is now available.

What's New in Stardew Valley 1.6 Mobile?

This update significantly expands the Stardew Valley experience. A key feature is the increased online multiplayer capacity, now supporting up to eight players simultaneously—double the previous limit! Collaborate with friends on farming, fishing, and building projects.

Two exciting fishing festivals, the Trout Derby and SquidFest, join the seasonal event roster, alongside the Desert Festival. The addition of the Meadowlands farm layout provides a new space for livestock and convenient fishing opportunities. Over 100 new NPC dialogues enhance interactions with the town's beloved characters.

A wealth of new items awaits! These include the expansive Big Chest, a dehydrator for preserving produce, a heavy-duty furnace, and a handy bait maker for targeted fishing.

Customization options abound with new furniture styles and over 25 fresh hats. Complete quests and festival events to earn prize tickets, redeemable at a prize machine located in Lewis' house.

After achieving maximum hearts with your initial pet, you can now acquire multiple pets, who may even bring you gifts! Furthermore, you can now accessorize your pets with hats, and NPCs sport winter attire.

A golden Joja parrot assists in locating elusive golden walnuts on Ginger Island. New crops include carrots, summer squash, broccoli, powdermelon, and two giant crop varieties.

The Reason for the Delay

The delay in bringing the 1.6 update to mobile and consoles allowed the developers to thoroughly test the update on PC, ensuring a smoother launch. Now, with the November release, players can explore new fishing events, bond with their multiple pets, and cultivate the new crops.
