The Legion Go S with SteamOS comes in two configurations to suit different needs and budgets. The first model, powered by an AMD Ryzen Z2 Go chip, includes 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, priced at $549.99, matching the cost of the 512GB OLED Steam Deck. The second, more advanced model features an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme chip, 32GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD, available for $749.99.
Both versions offer a 120Hz gaming experience and come equipped with two USB-C ports, allowing for easy storage expansion via a microSD card. Additionally, they include trigger locks for hair triggers, enhancing performance in competitive games like Marvel Rivals.
These models boast more powerful chips than the Steam Deck, potentially enabling them to run newer, demanding games such as Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Star Wars Outlaws, Dragon’s Dogma 2, and Monster Hunter Wilds.

Valve has announced plans to make SteamOS available for other non-Steam Deck handhelds, paving the way for you to install SteamOS on various handheld gaming PCs in the near future, possibly coinciding with the launch of these Legion Go S models.
