Survive Shifting Tombs, Alter Desert

RuneScape has just released a thrilling Dev’s Diary for April, detailing the latest update, "Return to the Desert: Pharaoh’s Folly." This new quest, available from today until April 28th, plunges players back into the heart of the Kharidian desert, where they must navigate the perilous Shifting Tombs alongside Leela and Ozan to alter the desert's fate.

Here’s the Full Scoop on the Pharaoh’s Folly in RuneScape

The situation in the Kharidian desert is escalating, with Menaphos teetering on the brink of chaos following Osman's shocking betrayal of his own people. The city is fracturing, with Amascut's sinister influence lurking in the shadows, signaling the start of even greater perils beyond the Shifting Tombs.

You'll have companions on this journey. Leela is back in action, and you'll meet new allies, including some unique pets. Together, you'll delve into the ancient secrets of Menaphos, aiming to unravel Osman's true intentions.

Heading Back into the Heat Again

Completing Pharaoh’s Folly comes with rewarding benefits. Players can earn Thieving and Agility XP, the prestigious title "The Rabble-Rouser," and a new item, Leela’s Favour bracelet. This bracelet offers teleportation to various locations across Menaphos, the Sophanem slayer dungeon, the Shifting Tombs, and all active soul obelisks.

However, "Return to the Desert: Pharaoh’s Folly" isn't a quest for novices. You'll need a Slayer level of 87, completion of the initial quest "Beneath Scabaras’ Sands," and to have checked off several milestones in the "Do No Evil" quest within Phite Club. Additionally, ensuring you've built the necessary structures from the Fort Forinthry storyline is crucial. Once these criteria are met, you can meet Leela outside Menaphos' gates and embark on a mission to save the city. So, if you're ready and meet the requirements, head to the Google Play Store to download RuneScape and dive into the "Return to the Desert!"
