Sword Art Online Variant Showdown Re-released after More than a Year of Maintenance!

Remember SAOVS, Bandai Namco's action RPG launched in November 2022? After a prolonged "never-ending maintenance" starting in September 2023 (initially slated to end summer 2024), Sword Art Online Variant Showdown is finally back!

The extended maintenance, as announced in August 2023, addressed core functionality issues requiring significant development time.

Sword Art Online Variant Showdown: What's New?

The re-release features Battle Royal Season 1, a four-player knockout competition running until December 30th. Compete in League Matches to earn Titles and accessories.

Loyal players who endured the maintenance are rewarded with the Returning Player Campaign, offering 5 [Sword Spark] Mito Pickup Scout Tickets.

The Restart Celebration: Six Great Campaigns event, running until January 30th, 2025, provides up to 100 free Scouts, login bonuses, and mission rewards.

You also have a chance to obtain the SSR [Sword Spark] Mito (Light-elemental fighter), and new SSR Ability Cards "Destroyer of Destiny" and "Seasoned Comrades," available until January 6th, 2025.
