Wildlife Studios has concluded the thrilling Final Stage of Roland-Garros eSeries by Renault 2025 for Tennis Clash, with Colombian player Samuel Sanin Ortiz "Sasmis" emerging victorious. The tournament drew hundreds of live spectators and thousands of online viewers across YouTube and Twitch platforms, showcasing this year's groundbreaking team-based competition featuring eight elite players.
Breaking from tradition, the Tennis Clash championship introduced a dynamic team phase where finalists competed under the guidance of tennis icons. Players received coaching from French Wimbledon champion Marion Bartoli and former ATP top-10 star Gilles Simon, adding strategic depth to the digital competition.
Simon's coaching team included Adjua Boucher "Renapower" (USA), eventual champion Samuel Sanin Ortiz "Sasmis" (COL), Eugen Mosdir "AreidY" (GER) and Alessandro Bianco "ΔLEX" (ITA). Bartoli mentored Hizir Balkanci "Hizir" (TUR), Randy Van Haele "RSMKN" (BEL), Omer Feder "Omer" (ISR) and Anyndia Lestari "Anyndia" (IDN).
The championship culminated in an intense best-of-five final between Sasmis and AreidY, with the Colombian player demonstrating superior skill to claim victory 3-1 (7-10 / 10-4 / 10-7 / 10-3). The match showcased exceptional digital tennis prowess and strategic adaptation under pressure.
"Winning Roland-Garros eSeries by Renault means everything to me," shared an emotional Sasmis. "Countless hours of preparation went into this achievement, and the entire experience - from qualification to lifting the trophy - has been unforgettable. Competing at Roland-Garros has been a dream come true, and I can't wait to return next year!"
The tournament also served as the platform to reveal Tennis Clash's landmark collaboration with four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka, marking the game's first official athlete partnership.
Since its 2018 inception, Roland-Garros eSeries by Renault has pioneered competitive eTennis, with Tennis Clash as its competitive platform since 2022. For those inspired to join the action, full tournament coverage is available on official streams, while Tennis Clash remains free to download on both App Store and Google Play platforms.
