Great news for fans of farm life sim RPGs: My Time at Sandrock, the sequel to the beloved My Time at Portia, is set to launch a mobile beta test! Developed by Pathea Games, this PC game from 2023 is making its way to Android, but for now, the beta test is exclusive to China. The test is being managed by Conscience Studio, while the game is published by PM Studios and Focus Entertainment on Steam.
Mark your calendars because My Time at Sandrock is embarking on its first-ever mobile test. This technical trial is designed to see how smoothly the game can transition into a mobile format. The developers are still fine-tuning aspects like resource loading and optimization, so participants should be ready for a few hiccups.
The beta test, exclusively for Android users in China, will be conducted through the Haoyou Kuaibao platform. If you're in China and eager to participate, you have until January 22nd to apply. The beta test itself starts on January 23rd. Keep in mind, all your saves will be wiped at the end of the test. However, you'll have the chance to dive into a new adventure post-test, exploring the first 30 days of in-game content which spans the initial 13 chapters. For more details and to apply, visit the official beta test page.
Set in a post-apocalyptic desert world 300 years after the Day of Calamity—an event that obliterated modern technology—My Time at Sandrock places you in the shoes of Sandrock's newest Builder. Your role involves the quintessential activities of gathering resources, crafting machines, building friendships with the locals, and even fending off monsters. The game boasts a charming and quirky art style that you can preview in the video below:
