The iconic *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge* has now made its way to mobile devices. While fans might remember its initial release as a Netflix exclusive back in June 2023, Playdigious has recently launched a standalone version on Android, and the best part? You don’t need a Netflix subscription to enjoy it.
This mobile edition of *TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge* mirrors the Netflix version, offering the complete game experience with all the features and content. This includes the *Dimension Shellshock* and *Radical Reptiles* DLCs, bundled right in for your enjoyment.
For fans of the original '80s *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles*, this game is a delightful trip down memory lane. It retains the classic side-scrolling, arcade-style gameplay with a beautifully crafted retro pixel art aesthetic. However, it doesn’t cling to outdated mechanics. The combat system has been revamped, allowing players to execute slick ninja combos and engage in cooperative team attacks.
You’ll find the entire beloved crew in *Shredder’s Revenge*. Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo are all present, along with fan-favorites like April O’Neil, Master Splinter, and Casey Jones, all as playable characters.
The adventure begins with Bebop and Rocksteady storming Channel 6 and swiping some mysterious tech. From there, you’ll battle through 16 stages, each drawing from the iconic *TMNT* settings. Along the journey, you’ll encounter classic foes such as Baxter Stockman and the Triceraton.
Playdigious has taken on the publishing duties, while Nickelodeon, Tribute Games, and Dotemu have managed the development and backend operations. The full version of the game is now available at a launch discount of $7.99, reduced from $8.99. Be sure to check it out on the Google Play Store.
