miHoYo (HoYoverse), the creators of Zenless Zone Zero, have released a new story trailer featuring Evelyn Chevalier, a familiar face from ZZZ 1.5. The trailer showcases Evelyn undertaking various assignments, described as "generating spectacular shots." However, a particular commission for Astra Yao appears to have gone awry. Astra, now a singer in the Zenless Zone Zero world, has Evelyn as her assistant.
Gameplay-wise, Evelyn is an S-rank Fire-attribute heroine specializing in Attack. Her unique ability centers on focusing attacks on specific targets, drawing enemy fire and triggering extended attack chains during basic attacks. When unleashing multi-stage or special attacks, she binds herself to the primary target with "Forbidden Bounds."
Her skills not only deal damage but also generate Tribal Threads and Scorch Points, which fuel powerful fire-based abilities, inflicting significant damage on enemies. Many players following Zenless Zone Zero leaks have already expressed their enthusiasm for Evelyn, particularly her combat style which involves dramatically removing her cape and using it to attack opponents.
