Warframe enthusiasts have been buzzing about the 1999 expansion, and now the excitement ramps up with the upcoming Techrot Encore update, set to launch on March 19th. This update promises to deepen the turn-of-the-millennium experience with a host of new content, including the return of the ARG band as thrilling boss battles.
The Techrot Encore update introduces four new Protoframes: Flare, Minerva, Kaya, and Velimir II, each bringing unique abilities to the fray. Alongside these characters, the 60th Warframe, Temple, enters the scene, equipped with Techrot Subwoofer minions and a sapient guitar named Lizzie, promising to shake things up in combat.
For seasoned players, two new endgame stages are on offer. In Stage Defense, players will protect Scaldra during a poignant memorial show for fallen comrades amidst Scaldra's city takeover. Temporal Archimedea challenges players to team up with Minerva and Velimir II for three consecutive randomized missions, with the Peely Pix system introducing fresh modifiers each round.
A highlight of the update is the Atomicycle racing mini-game, Ollie's Crash Course, at the Höllvania Mall Hub arcade. This addition honors a Make-A-Wish commitment from James Conlin, adding a heartfelt touch to the Warframe universe.
With the approach of Tennocon 2025 and the relaunch of an open beta for the enhanced Warframe Companion App, there's no shortage of excitement for Warframe fans this March. Whether you're diving into the new content or gearing up for future events, the game continues to evolve and engage its community.
