Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Lineup: A Snowy Start and More to Come

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers are in for a treat this January 2025! Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, a thrilling skiing game featuring co-op and PvP modes, drops on January 21st as a day-one title. This exciting addition follows a relatively quiet first half of the month, where several games shifted tiers rather than new titles being added.

While the initial January 2025 Game Pass additions were somewhat limited, the second half promises a much more substantial update. Following Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, three more day-one games are slated for release: Eternal Strands (January 28th), Sniper Elite: Resistance (January 30th), and Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector (January 31st).

Of particular note is Eternal Strands, an action-adventure game from Yellow Brick Games, boasting a distinct Zelda-esque feel. This title, developed by a studio led by BioWare veteran Mike Laidlaw, is sure to capture the attention of many Game Pass subscribers.
