Xbox recently unveiled exciting glimpses of the upcoming WWE 2K25 game through a series of captivating screenshots. As WWE 2K24 hit the shelves in March 2024, enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating that WWE 2K25 might follow suit with a similar release window in 2025. Although detailed information about the next installment remains under wraps, the gaming community is buzzing with speculation about potential enhancements and features.
A hot topic among fans is the identity of the cover star. Over the years, iconic figures like Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock, as well as contemporary stars such as Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, and Bianca Belair, have adorned the game's cover. A recent leak from the game's Steam page has sparked discussions about who might be featured on the WWE 2K25 cover. However, the only concrete information available so far stems from the screenshots shared by Xbox on its Twitter page.
The official Xbox Twitter account celebrated WWE RAW's debut on Netflix by posting screenshots of WWE 2K25, showcasing updated models and new attires for characters like Liv Morgan, Cody Rhodes, Damien Priest, and CM Punk. While the post didn't address the possibility of the game joining Xbox Game Pass, fans took note of the improved facial details on Cody Rhodes and the striking likeness of Liv Morgan.
These screenshots serve as a confirmation of these four characters' inclusion in the game, although no comprehensive roster details have been released yet. With significant changes in the WWE landscape, including departures and the arrival of new talent, fans are hopeful that their current favorites, such as Bloodline members Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga, and the Wyatt Sicks with their new gimmicks, will make the cut when WWE 2K25 launches.
While the screenshots were shared by the Xbox account, WWE 2K25 is expected to be available on PlayStation and PC as well. It remains unclear whether the game will be exclusive to current-gen consoles. However, a link provided by the WWE Games Twitter account in the comments section directs to a wishlist page featuring logos of Xbox, PlayStation, and Steam, with a promise that more details about WWE 2K25 will be revealed on January 28, 2025.
