Yakuza / Like a Dragon Fans Choosing Upcoming Official Merch, From Cult Clothes, Traffic Cones, and More Bizarre Items

To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio is letting fans choose its next official merchandise! Fans can vote from a whopping 100 items, with the top two choices going into production within the next two years. The voting is currently only available on the official Japanese website.

While some options are standard anniversary fare, like hoodies and pencil cases, many others are delightfully bizarre and pull directly from the series' iconic history.

Among the more unusual options are Munan Suzuki's cult outfit from Yakuza 0, Majima's infamous traffic cone hiding spot from Yakuza Kiwami, and the intriguingly named "Puffy Gold Pants." Other choices include Majima's sake cup from Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Akiyama's gold watch, Kiryu's fountain pen from Yakuza 6, Kashiwagi's tambourine from Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Kiryu's wrestling mask from Yakuza 3, and Saejima's prison uniform from Yakuza 4, among many more memorable items.

2025 marks not only the 20th anniversary but also sees the release of Like a Dragon: Pirate of the Caribbean (sic. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth) on February 21st. While a second release this year isn't confirmed, given RGG Studio's prolific output—nine games in the last five years alone, including Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Judgment Remastered, Lost Judgment, Like a Dragon: Ishin, Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth, and two Super Monkey Ball games—it's certainly not outside the realm of possibility.
